Still plugging on.
Hey guys I know its been 2 weeks since my last post. I want to let you all know I'm still keeping on. I've gained tons of muscle this summer and lost so much body fat in the mid section. I don't really like lifting at the gym so I'm lifting at home now using the dumb-bell set my dad gave me. I have been watching this great new show Extreme makeover weight loss edition and its pretty inspirational. I'm always looking for new sources of inspiration. I can't wait until Sean Andersons book hits the shelves! Keep it classy guys!

I don't know if my legs have ever been this sore!
So yesterday my legs were a little tight but I decided to walk around lake boomer with a friend. It was pretty nice and my legs actually felt better after the walk. I kept under my calories and kept on trucking on. Well today I woke up and my legs were so tight I had to push myself just to stretch. My lifting regimine was probably a little too intense for my body to start with but next time I will cope much better with it. Today the plan is to walk boomer again and I bet it will work out quite a bit better, we shall see! Overall I'm very happy because I can see changes in my body, my body fat is dissappearing which is great. I truly believe that this next 50 lbs of weight loss will be the best for my image to others. I have muscle under my flab and I want to let it out of its cage!

Another intense workout and I feel great!
So today I went to the gym with a new strategy in mind. I want to incorporate more lifting into my workouts and thats what I did. I began with two 35 minute elepticals then I did a lower body workout and I am wiped. I feel such a sense of accomplisment from my workouts and the next day I can usually feel the progress because my muscles ache.
Just this week I decided to research some supplements to help me support my body throughout these workouts and I found a couple that turned out to help me quite a bit. The one I want to mention is "Muscle Milk" because its proved to be so helpful and good for me. After I workout my body is worn down and Muscle Milk has lots of proteins and amino acids in it that help me recover faster. Muscle Milk is also a meal replacement thats a shake, I got the vanilla and its pretty great. If it use 2 cups of skim milk (90 calories) and 2 scoops of Muscle Milk (300) I have a good 480 calorie meal thats proved to be super satisfying. It also has 32 grams of protein per 2 scoop serving and 30 is the most anyone can absorb in one meal so I'm not overdoing it on the protein. I know it sounds like I'm raving (and I am) but I also wanted to mention that the stuff is packed with vitamins and they use whey protein so everything in it is actually good for me. If there is one meal I don't have to think about each day it seems like its worth it so far.
In other news I was in Ponca for a week and did quite a bit of physical stuff for my parents and maintained a 1,500 calorie diet on my non workout days. Now I'm in Stillwater ready to do some rinse and repeats of today.
